Multidisciplinary care provides excellent functional outcome for many patients with aSAH
Nearly 64 percent of patients treated for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) at Mayo Clinic's Minnesota campus from 2001 to 2013 had excellent functional outcome at their last follow-up visit within one year of aSAH.


Equipment design improvements are not enough
In an evidence-based action plan published in the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine, Mayo Clinic researchers called for the elimination of head hits and fighting from all levels of professional and amateur ice hockey and changes in body-checking policies.
